Benefits From Wearing A Hearing Aid
Hearing loss is one of the most common conditions in the world. Most hard of hearing people could benefit from modern hearing aids. They can significantly improve the user’s ability to understand speech in difficult listening situations.
We Are Committed To Working With You To Restore Your Hearing To The Optimum Level Possible
The right hearing instrument, style and size for you depends on several factors, including:
- Degree of hearing loss
- Listening requirements
- Technology needs
- Ear shape and size
- Ability to handle the instruments
- Life style needs
Types of Hearing Aids
- Behind the Ear (BTE)
Typically for sever or profound hearing loss, but they can be for any type of heaRing loss. Must be worn with an ear mold to connect the aid to your ear. All children who wear hearing aids are fitted with BTEs.
- In the Ear (ITE)
This type benefits most degrees of hearing loss. An ITE hearing aid fills inside of the ear and extends down into the ear canal to different lengths.
- In the Canal (ITC)
For mild to severe hearing losses. This hearing aid is smaller and sits in the opening of the ear canal and extends into the ear canal farther than an ITE.
